When it’s time to push send...

We got through the first week….

Some of you will have a database, many of you will have customers, and all of you will have a network.

This can be the starting point for distributing your newsletter.

I think the most important thing in the newsletter business is that you own your own audience.

A newsletter is where you can speak freely about your topic without the noise that comes with posting on social media.

We use Beehiiv for our newsletter/Agletter. We own our audience through that platform.

Other platforms like Substack actually own your audience, and if you make income from your newsletter/Agletter they take 10 per cent.

If you’re starting out small, you can run your newsletter by keeping your audience’s email addresses in a spreadsheet and bulk-sending them via email. If you’re doing that, only send 50 email addresses at a time. Eg if you have 150 names, do it in 3 separate emails.

Get stuck into it.

Reply to [email protected] if you want to add something you know.

Have a great day.

End of message.
